(Adapted from "We Still Kneed Dough" cookbook by the Singing Women of West Texas)
Ingredients:
1 1/2lbs ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
6 oz medium egg noodles
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can whole kernel corn
1 - 2oz jar diced pimento
1 - 8oz sour cream
1 cup fine, dry breadcrumbs
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
Before the campout:
Brown the ground beef and freeze
At the campsite:
Cook the noodles according to the recipe on the box. Chop the onion. Brown meat and onion together in the DO. Open and drain the corn, pimento. Add chicken soup, mushroom soup, corn, pimento, and sour cream. Stir well. Sprinkle evenly with bread crumbs and dot with pats of butter. Bake at 350° for 45 minues.
