Despite a very, very, very wet beginning, the weather turned beautiful and the Powhatan District renaissance/medieval festival was a wonderful success. A great time was had by all. We ran the popular Jousting Tournament and watched as noble knights astride their trusty steeds tried valienty to skewer a bunch of curtain hooks. Our "survivor" skit took us to new heights of originality (and length). Troop 1018's "Bowman" patrol walked away with second place honors for the games. A great time for all!
