Winter Camping

Elizabeth Furnace, VA

25-26 Jan 2003

This was winter camping in every sense of the word.  We set up camp by a beautiful frozen stream, the overnight temperatures fell to 12 degrees, and we even had a few snow flurries, but everyone had a great time and learned a lot about surviving outdoors in the dead of winter.
