Troop Campout - Marriott Ranch
11 - 13 June 2004
It was a dark and rainy night . . . at least that's the way it started. As we pulled into the Marriott Ranch we were offered, and gladly accepted, an invitation to spend our first night under the roof of the pavilion. No argument from Troop 1018! The next morning we moved to the campsite and enjoyed a perfect day of camping weather. Our whole crew enjoyed the afternoon horseback trail ride and an evening campfire that was hot enough to roast a marshmallow at 50 paces.
