For the fourth time in the last five District Camporees, a Troop 1018 patrol took top honors in the camporee competition. The Midnight Wolf patrol's name will again grace the plaque awarded to the first place finisher. The Wolves took the trophy back from the defending champs, Troop 1018's Lumberjacks, who came in second place overall. A great 1-2 finish for a great bunch of Boy Scouts!
This camporee also saw the world premier of yet another great 1018 skit -- "Mission Almost Maybe" which drew rave reviews from the audience (meaning that nobody got up and left).
We all had a great time, ate well, enjoyed some board games, did a little stargazing, got a few advancement requirements signed off, and had plenty of fun (hey, isn't that why we were there?).
