Troop Campout

Elizabeth Furnace, George Washington National Forest, VA

2-4 February 2007

Our annual winter camping trip turned out to be true winter camping as the thermometer fell to about 15 degrees on Saturday night.  But, we were prepared (aren't Scouts always prepared?) and had a great time.  The campfire felt especially good and the Troop 1018 football super bowl game turned out to be a good prediction of the other Super Bowl played the next day, with the Colts edging the Bears.  Another great troop 1018 campout!
