A great winter campout, this one was filled with all sorts of activities. We worked on merit badges (radio, personal management, communications, astronomy), advancement requirements, went on an orienteering hike, played games (Quirkle, 10,000 pyramid, cards, etc), had a star party (identified stars, planets, and constellations for the astronomy merit badge and saw the heavens through a telescope), listened to short wave radio while working on the radio merit badge (stations from China, Japan, England, Cuba, France, Germany, Canada, USA, Australia, and who knows how many others), listened to a spooky radio play from 1947, and, in true 1018 fashioned, ate like kings! It was another great cabin campout for the troop!
