Our annual trek to summer camp took us to Pennsylvania this year and a return to Hawk Mountain where we first visited back in 2005. Hawk Mountain was everything we remembered and more -- a great staff, excellent program, beautiful surroundings, and even great food! We earned lots of merit badges and advancement requirements and several Scouts and leaders earned the Kittatinny Award -- a special Hawk Mt award given to campers that complete a wide range of activities during the course of the week. We performed two skits at the closing campfire ("1-800 Bad Skit.net, and "Are You Smarter Than A Tenderfoot?". Both were great! Over half of the group (Scouts & Scouters) were up early every morning for the Polar Bear Swim and thanks to Mr. Collins' excellent shooting instruction, Mr. Donnell won the "Old Man of the Mountain Award" with the top shooting score at the rifle range for the week.
