As his Eagle Project, David A undertook an effort to perform much needed preservation work at Congressional Cemetery in Washington, DC. The cemetery has been a fixture in DC since its opening in 1807 and serves as the final resting place for many prominent Americans. Particularly in the lower part of the cemetery, near the Anacostia River, the stones have slowly sunk below the surface over the years. A major portion of the project involved pulling up these stones and resetting them at ground level. Following the project the staff gave us a very interesting tour of grounds.
