Troop1018's first campout to Gettysburg in many years was a great success. The weather was cooperative (temps in the 90s gave everyone a good feel for what it must have been like in July of 1863). We had great campsite, McMillan Woods, just behind the Confederate lines of days two and three of the battle. Our new Scout patrol, the Devastating Dragons enjoyed their first campout as a 1018 patrol. And, of course, best of all, everyone had fun!
