This year Troop 1018's high adventure experience was truly something unique. We sent two crews to the Boy Scout Northern Tier High Adventure Camp -- one to Atikokan, Canada and the other to Ely, Minnesota. The Ely group headed out toward Atikokan and the Atikokan group made their way through the wilderness to Ely.
But first, there was the preparation. These pictures were taken during our canoeing instruction and practice.
At Dulles Airport

After the treks, out crews link up again outside Ely, spend the night, and drive to Minneapolis for the return flight to Dulles.
